if anything they should just make it that if your cloaked you cant be hit by the enemies whilst gathering at a node

you can still be hit if your not at a node however to keep things fair.

It does get old. Not fully sure why players do this but have a few guesses. Maybe bored, maybe they think all gathers are bots or they just don't want you to have the node so there is less to sell on there market. I have been in areas near nodes that have FATEs that some one will pull something from the FATE to the node and knock everyone off with aoe damage. Everyone leaves unhappy but if you check the person you may find they are a high level gether also or that the next group coming by the node is not harrassed. They stopped their competion until the node pops again. Once everyone has left, the person doing this switches to gathering and hits the node. It keeps supply low on the MB and their prices higher. Don't waste your time saying anything to the person, send harrassment/cheating report(depending on what you think the intent was), date, time, node, FATE method to knock you off, ect.

intentionally dragging mobs over to disrupt DoL classes can be grounds for a suspension. Everyone should be reporting this behaviour. Not only does it interrupt gathering but it also interrupts mooching and fishing which we all know is a pain in the ass. I have seen many players suspended on Gilgamesh after me and a few others have reported them for bragging about what they do.

Unfortunately, being a gatherer doesn't really excuse yourselves for being safe. Even the main story has one example of how gathering can be "dangerous" too a certain "lala". lol

Just report them as being harassment.

Its always fun when FATES, Hunt Marks, over lap gather spots. Atleast they changed some of the hunt marks to non-aggressive. I remember doing a levequest in CCH for miner and the last node was right next to a hunt mark, fearing that stealth wouldn't work and I would pull the mark early and risk being blacklisted by the entire server, I watched as my timer expired as everyone was waiting for their cousins brothers sisters father former roommate to show up for the hunt.

Haha, seriously. Not me though. I went to Coerthas and there was Morraco (sp?) right near a tree where I needed Spruce. A little stealth, knock out the node, switch to bard, join a party, get some tomes/seals, switch back to gathering and go to the next node.
