With the upcoming changes to DRG, I thought of these changes with some friends, and we agreed that these would be awesome and we'd all play the job if this were the case.
- DRG renamed to Derg
- Derg now generates no enmity
- Immune to damage from enemies
- All skills have potency changed to 42, except Full Thrust
- Every skill puts multiple 1 potency dots on enemies for 10 minutes
- Elusive jump now removes you from combat and can go through gates to exit arenas
- Life surge allows you to attack a teammate to heal them
- Blood For Blood Trait altered to grant the buff to all party members but cause them to heal any targets they attack
- Pole Arm range increased to 100 yalms
- Leg Sweep causes a tripping animation on all targets hit
- Heavy Thrust grants heavy on the party
- Chaos Thrust puts confusion on the mob, causing it to wander around and attack in random directions
- Dragonfire Dive leaves a patch of fire on the ground that deals a 1 potency dot to enemies and 999 potency to allies
- Invigorate steals all TP from a random party member
- Phlebotimize consumes limit break bar to activate
- Power Surge makes your next jump or spineshatter dive do raid-wide damage to enemies and allies
- Impulse Drive still requires a rear hit, but missing the rear hit causes a random party member to lose a buff
- Disembowel makes enemies 10% more resistant to non-piercing damage
- Full Thrust potency is buffed to 999 potency but reflects 500% of the damage to the party.
- Ring of Thorns renamed to Pole Dancing, it now charms allies that are facing it
- Doom Spike renamed to Dork Spike, has infinite range but a tiny line that must hit the center of an enemy to register
- GCD reduced to 1 second
- Keen Flurry reduces GCD to 0
- GCD skills must be activated in a specific order according to a predetermined rotation by SE. All GCD skills will be unavailable except for the next action in the rotation
- Feint now grants slow spikes on enemies, causing allies that attack to suffer from a 50% slow effect and preventing allied dots from being applied
tl;dr I had fun writing this.
