Please fix weather system

In few more hours, it's going to be my 6th days being stuck at 79/80 for my sightseeing log. I started since Monday, and I've only see the Fog at the right time for Southern Thanalan ONCE. But I wasn't able to get it because it was gonna pop in a hour, and that's when i'll be in class.

Since then, I've been trying to check in with the Skywatcher every hour to see if it's up the next hour. But of course, it either pops before or after the time that I needed it. Then the rest is just triple sunny/clear or heatwave or overcast.

I get that it's RNG, but atleast make it so that it prioritize weather that hasn't pop for a very long time. This is just frustrating and big waste of time.

Weather doesn't quite work like that, both in real life and in Eorzea. It doesn't just start raining simply because it hasn't rained for a while - if that were the case droughts wouldn't exist. It'd be better to change the Sightseeing Log than to change how weather works.

I\\'ve been trying to check in with the Skywatcher .

Don\\'t even complain, u guys get the weather forecast on a silver platter for every area with the weather npc now.
Ppl like me had to rely on luck and gil ( for constant teleporting to each zone ). I memorized the weather time changes and practiced/ calculated the time getting to the location from the nearest aetheryte.
This was all done "without" a weather forecast npc.

Also se was really nice to combine fine & clear weather requirements into one weather ( forgot the name ).
Im pretty sure a lot of pre nerf sightseers remember the drybone rain SS log and the clear/ fair SS logs in coerthas.

All it takes is patience and planning.
I camped north than for the fog SS log at 5am ( or was it 4am i frgt )
Every possible window as i didn't want to miss any chances. Wasted hours and hours probably would add up to 2 whole days over a 5 day span.

For the record my first half was done when skywatcher isn't even implemented, it wasn't like "oh hey I get a free ride from the start." I decide to finish the other half after a good amount of denial and acceptance. At this point there is no planning for me, it's just patience. And I think nearly a week worth of wait for one single weather is ridiculous.

lol. 6 days? I waited 2 weeks and more for some weather changes I needed and you are complaining about 6 days?

If they were to fix anything it would be the whole system, they took a well implemented feature from other games and found the worst way to make a time sink out of it.

That said, if anyone wants pretty much a "free ride" to the minion use these websites, this is the kind of treatment a poorly implemented feature should get.
