Design Flaw in Goblet Housing Interface! (Repost from General Forums)

I have or had a character in every housing zone currently available. Mist, Lavender Beds, and The Goblet. But the most frustrating housing zone to deal with is The Goblet.
It's not whats on the outside that concerns me and the Free Companies who own a Goblet house; but the inside.

In the Mist and Lavender Bed's housing zones; inside the houses, it's easy to place furnishings as close to the wall as allowed:


But in Goblet houses; It's impossible to get it near the wall and it causes it to look awkward and leaves an obviously huge gap in the distance between the object and the wall:


This creates a disadvantage for those in the Goblet wards as some people like to use three Riviera Fringed Rugs to create one large rug. like so:


Which is impossible to do in The Goblet homes unless you want it to look super terrible with the overlapped terrain graphics. Doing this in the Goblet would force you to move the two outside rugs to meet like this:



The reason for this design flaw is the large amount of space where the outline of the floor is in reference to the wall:


Where has The Mist's and Lavender Bed homes have literally no gap of space between floor in reference to the wall:


This gap in Goblet homes has got to go!!

Yea please fix this SE. It is really annoying for some of the furniture that you can't place furniture right on the wall. In the other housing zones you can put the fire places right on the wall. In the Goblet there is like a 1 foot Gap between the wall and the fireplace.

Has this been addressed at all? In another thread maybe? It's extremely annoying.

It would be nice if this can be fixed... I recall a member of the community team saying in the other thread something about looking into it....

It's probably fair to say we won't be hearing anything about this until July, after Heavensward's been released. From the very little we've heard about anything lately, the team is completely focused on the expansion, and everything that actually needs fixing in the current version will have to wait.

I've never had a house in The Goblet so I had no idea this existed. It would be really annoying to try and place furniture with that gap near the walls. This issue needs to be addressed.
