    As with most dungeons, it is really not that bad. If people do their basic roles, stay behind the tank, let tank pull, follow kill order, etc. etc. Go the safe path and just pull something instead of trying to sneak past it, especially first room. That can cause a chain reaction of a bunch of bad things. Make sure the tank has Stoneskin or Adloq on before each pull of the first room. Especially before pulling a frog. This will prevent the tongue pulls (doesn't always do it though) from the frogs, which can cause another bad chain reaction. Pull back to a safe spot. You don't have to, and shouldn't, fight AT the spawn spots. It really helps if the tank knows what to do, and everyone follows his lead.

    Thankfully pets are no longer affected by the AoEs of the first or last boss. Before that being a SCH was pure hell but doable. Eat the fruits on 2 stacks on the first boss, help your healer out, don't wait until 3. Usually the tank can get the fruit right next to the boss, the healer the fruit just to the left inside the room. The 2 DPS can figure out the other 2 fruits. That way nobody is eating the tank fruit, the healer is more centered on the room and everyone can be in range easier then having one of the other corner fruits.

    Most of the time Coincounter is explained by a few simple words: Eyes Have It Fate. It also helps if nobody stuns but the tank. If you have 2-3 ranged especially, and not sure about the fight, it really help if only the tank is stunning, and stuns the attack right after the Reconsider. This prevents a ranged wide arc attack with a DoT. And gives the tank a few seconds to get enmity back, Reconsider resets it.

    All of the Morbol Fruit pods, you can have those hatch and get more exp. Except last boss. Kill those ASAP.

    Last boss, it is standard that everyone eats a fruit at 3 stacks, but, to help the healer, especially if the tank doesn't have to eat fruits to clear the breath, everyone else can eat at 2 stacks, tank at 3. When she runs, be prepared to kill the ring of pods she's about to poop out. And helps if everyone eats the fruit on the outside away from the tank first. So when it comes time for the tank to grab a fruit, the boss isn't suddenly using the big breath cone towards the middle of the room.

    There are some mechanics, careful pulling, but there are not any (ok, just 1 with Coincounter melee range) 1-hit kills to worry about. Nor is there any heavy dodging to worry about, like the dodge ball boss in DD, Titan plumes, or anything of that nature.

    I've heard it called "The Vale of Fail" more than a few times. There's usually two sorts of people who get stuck in AV through DF, those who have never been there before and need it for GC/Animus progression, and those who just want easy tomes for their low level roulette and don't want to spend 45 mins on a single dungeon explaining everything to the first group of people, and who have, most likely, had at least one bad experience with the first group of people not listening when they do. I don't like the place because it takes longer than other dungeons of comparable level (40-50ish) and whenever I do get stuck there I get stuck with people who don't know it and won't listen when i try to explain it.

    Yeah, if you get this as your daily Duty Roulette, you might as well leave, vote to dismiss or ask to be kicked from the group. It would be much faster to try your luck again and hoping to get Ifrit or one of level 16-24 dungeons.... SE really should add more "desirable and expensive" craft materials that drops from the last boss here, so people have some worthwhile reason to do this more.

    psh, I love Aurum Vale, it's the highlight of the levelling experience to me.
    (for the love of god stop killing the morbol fruits before they hatch what are you even..)

    Aurum Hell? It's that bad if there is ANYBODY in the party who doesn't know how to do their role correctly. This is the dungeon that tests all that you've learned, and if anybody doesn't know how to play their role right, they'll hold back everybody else and can easily wipe the party. It's basically the "skill" dungeon, you need it in order to beat it. And as anybody can tell you, finding a skilled party in the DF for this place is like finding a good Turn 5 group in the DF, good luck with that.

    Prefer to not run any dungeon for 30 minutes than to run AV for 30+ minutes.

    If any dungeons need "adjustment" - this would be it. Get rid of those pesky adds on first room before boss. Lower the poison effect so you only need to eat fruit every 4 stacks. Lower Boss HP so they die much faster. Or add a few "shiny new exclusive" crafting materials here, and more people will run this. Doubling the XP earn from mobs would also help, since it will be come far more time effective to do this dungeon VS doing levee quest + FATE at lvl 47.

    It's a mechanics-heavy dungeon with many layered things that will cause wipes if anyone in the pt doesn't know what's going on or is slow to react. Unfortunately that's often a near-given in DF, so many people will gladly eat the 30-minute lockout rather than try to drag themselves through an AV run unless it's with friends.
