Isn't there a post Yoshi made in a Letter or something that mentions that the Personal Airship will be easy to obtain because of how important flying will be to Heavensward?Like all things on Eozea, I know it going to cost me arm and a leg. "Believe It" But what I wis ho avoid is custom built Airs Ships for the sol sack of having to have mad 3 sizes, 20+ floor patterns, and 100+ nicknacks to trick out my AS.
Ok lets be honest, Im gonna but them.
I am thinking 15mil is a safe bet. Not much in EZ will cost more. its not like I have to own a seat on the syndic to build one.

If there is, after the ludicrous price is announced on the airship patch... we'll get a post explaining how Yoshi just had to calm people down in the letter and the price is somehow cheap because of inflation.
We'll have just misinterpreted his words.
"Affordable" in SE terms really means "if you work for it for a year without sleep".
I could have sworn i heard/saw mention that the Personal Airship will be introduced to players via quests pretty early on.
I can't imagine they'd tout airships as a major feature of the expansion and then lock away the ability to access one behind a massive paywall (especially if the Airship is required for story purposes).
For housing, i can understand why they don't want everyone and their mother to have one, as it takes a fair chunk of server resources to have them.
An AirShip would not require that kind of server space. So its my hope at least, that we get a Personal Airship easily, then we have the option from there to spend large quantities of Gil/Crafting Materials on making that Airship bigger or more fancy.
They did also mention that FCs will have the option to build an Airship for the FCs use. That might be where the Airships start to cost players.
