How to get your live letter questions ignored

The first two are pretty obvious. And reposting is largely harmless (though it does water things down, with some people liking one post and not another).

But lots of people put multiple questions per post, so maybe hopefully some of them will see this.

Why's it matter? They use the # of likes to help determine which questions to ask. If you have multiple questions in a post, 1) you're going to miss out on likes from people who don't care about all your questions and 2) SE can't tell which question(s) the likes apply to.

Ok, joking aside, I still firmly believe they cherry pick questions they WANT to answer and NOT the ones with the most likes. :/ We've seen this in action many, many (17 in fact) times before.

Well some questions are sometimes unanswerable at the time no matter HOW many Likes they get. Keep that in mind. I imagine the Reps make a list ranked by Like # and the dev team and Marketing decide which questions can be answered. They also have to consolidate the questions from all the forum sections and merge duplicate questions. A question that gets 100 Likes on the NA side may not even have been asked on the JP side, but another question with a smaller amount of Likes but that was asked by all sections of the community may have collectively more Likes. After that, as I said, they need to filter out questions that they can't answer or that have answers Marketing says need to stay under wraps longer. It also seems like there's a Marketing rep or some such at every LIVE Letter that Yoshi gets "Yes" or "No" from on anything that came up outside the Q&A.

Theres a limit to what Yoshi can tell us without going into dangerous territory where people start taking things as promises and gospel truths.
It'd also be difficult to answer "What race is Yugiri?" without spoiling the story something shocking, No matter how many likes it gets.

Consider it more of questions that can SAFELY be answered more than just whatever gets more likes. I imagine Likes is still critical to what they choose to answer, but practicality is foremost.

Yeah, it's pretty much a lottery.

There's information they've already decided they absolutely will release regardless, and will invent questions to match if necessary. There's information they've already decided they absolutely will not release regardless, and will ignore questions about it no matter how much forum traction they've got, how often they're asked, how man likes they get.

Then there's a handful of freebie slots for questions that come from the actual threads. And if you're interested in playing this particular lottery, you've got better odds (read: any odds at all) if you follow the guidelines than if you don't.

Thing is, they already have a list created for the live letter.

1 hour+ of pre wait... check
Show images of new gear.. check.
Show some artwork... check.
Hi hi hi... check.
Tell you very common sense answers or answers they have already mentioned for a good 20-30mins... check.
Toss 20 sided dice and if it lands on 1 they get to show you a video... check.
Talk about theyre next upcoming live letter in toyko... check.

The only live letters I enjoyed were when they showed 2.0 artwork, end of 1.0 servers and new trailer to ARR.
