Crafting Fatigue?

Is there still crafting fatigue of some kinda in the game? I just all of a sudden started failing synths 3 ranks above me multiple times in a row when just earlier I was completing things 7 ranks above me no problem. I actually just bought crafting gear too and my Rank 22 hammer and now I seem to just be doing worse with my crafting then before.

I am rank 22 failing Brass Dishes which are supposedly rank 25.

Certain recipes recommend a facility that you should use in order to have a higher rate to successfully synthesized that item. Depending on the recommended facility, "common, guild's, or master's" for certain items, it's advised that you get the specific facility that the recipe recommend. However you can substitute in guild's or master's facilities if the item recommend a common facility. Common facility can be obtain by talking to repairs npcs (select second option when talking to them), or a certain npc at each camp (first talk option, I believe). Only by talking to one of the npc behind the counter at the corresponding craft guild can you get guild or masters facilities.

Items recommending guild facility support are notably harder to successfully synth without using the guild's facility then those requiring common facility. So if an item recommend a guild facility then you probably should run to the guild and get the guild facility buff unless you are at a much higher level than the level of the recipe(and even if you are, it still can be fairly difficult). It is easier to successfully synth items without the common support buff even if the recipe recommend the common facility but if guild's or master's facility are recommended then you really should go get that buff even if your craft rank is much higher than that recipe.

The recipe for Brass Dishes recommended guild support (*I think) so that is probably the reason why you are failing. I do not know if there is a crafting fatigue in the game or not, which I don't believe there is, your issue is more likely due to not having the guild's facility support.

No, there's no such thing as "Crafting Fatigue," that makes you fail synth attempts if you've been crafting too much.

Cid is right. Brass Dishes require Guild support. Here's a link to Yellow Gremlin, showing that you need Guild support. Also, when you start the synth, and you get the message like "This synth would benefit from a higher level of support," that means you should get a higher level of support to do the synth.

That could be the problem. Or it could just be a streak of bad luck with the random number generator.
