Thoughts on adding a new, DoL quest to the beast tribes?

I had a thought today about grinding the beast tribe reps. The Ixal grind is so fast because of that quest worth 50 rep right from the start. All of the others just take forever.

Why not add a quest for gatherers like that 50 rep quest to the other beast tribes?? They're the only ones that don't have anything for beast tribes to benefit them. I can even imagine each beast tribe representing a gathering class. Miners could go to the kobolds, botanists could go to the Sylph. Sahagin could be fishing, though I can't think of a lore reason (Probably because I haven't done anything for them.). Amalj'aa could be Cycle through the each one daily for some reason (again, haven't done them yet.). The Ixal stays for the crafters.

Actually, all the beast tribes take the same amount of time to get max rank. Sure, the ixal ones give more rep, but they also go to rank 7(I think it was) while the other tribes only go up to rank 4. Also, I believe the 50 rep quest is for crafters and not gatherers anyway.

Really? Huh. Wasn't aware of that, I thought people were just surprised at an increase of one level of rep, not three. And yes, the Ixal is for crafting and not gathering, but I still think DoL needs a little daily love.

The other beast tribes have the currency available on the market board(I mean it is listed with the one you get from the Ixal) so I think they have always intended to work on the other beast tribe quests. They just have to work it into the story , hopefully they will find a good way to put it in.

I would definitely appreciate some more non-combat alternatives to beast tribe quests.

For the new beast tribes in Ishgard, how about a mix of several different types of quests? Could have the 50-rep quest for filling a craft/gather quota and splash in some combat quests to boot.
