Hello Good People of Zalera!

Who We Are
The first thing you should know about our FC is that the founders hail from an "old school gamer" generation, a time when gaming communities were vastly different. A time when progression was made in an environment where people were truly "friends" first. We met IRL for yearly "guild conventions", members were friends and not just another number, grinding content was a way of life, and when you didn't log on for a while- you WERE missed. While we do realize that as time passes, generations enter the community, society in general changes, and this type of gaming community has all but vanished; we DO strive to keep the ideal of it present in our FC.

While we are an FC primarily focused on serious, progressive raiding, we do love us some social/casual/leveling people to hang with as well. So whether you're a raider or a casual, you are welcome here!

The FC's founders are long time mmo junkies, having done their time as "hardcore" raiders in various mainstream mmos and who are now seeking to cultivate the same type of results as "hardcore" raiding, but on a more forgiving/casual schedule and atmosphere.

Our raid schedule is more "casual" in nature, amounting to only 2x days a weekend/4 hours each day. We do this because our raiding base is comprised of adults who don't have tons of free time on weekday nights to devote to raiding (for a variety of reasons), but still want to be competitive and progressive.

Our membership is smaller in numbers, but that is largely by choice. We do NOT have any desire to evolve into one of those massively numbered FC's, but wish to remain relatively smaller with only 2-3x 8 man raid groups.

Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking people that are serious about raiding and spend a majority of their in game time working to improve their main raiding job(s) whether that's gear upgrades, pf/df/fc groups outside of raid time to practice content we're currently working on, watching strat vids/reading up on strats for current content, etc.

While we DO want people who are "serious" about raiding, we also like to have a lot of fun. It IS a game, after all! So applicants would need to be of a "laidback" attitude but "serious" about raiding with a sense of humor and a desire to learn/experience the content at whatever pace the raid group is getting through it, be it fast or slow.

What We Expect From You

We expect applicants to, well... apply! You can do so at www.statikoscirculus.enjin.com

If you are applying as a raider:

• Be skillful and knowledgeable about your class(es)
• Choose a "primary" raid class (for ease of group composition/slotting)
• Be able and willing to use RAIDCALL for voice comms during raids (or socially as well if you'd like)
• Be available for BOTH raid days: Sat & Sun 2p-6p est OR Tues & Wed 1230a-330a est
• Be able to attend a MAJORITY of the raid days (we've all got family, work, life etc. Time off is absolutely fine as long as you are considerate enough to let us know in advance and it's not excessive!)
• Be personable
• Be a team player << super important
• Be an adult

Why? Because we aren't "hardcore/elite"? Because we prefer to remain smaller? Because we just started T6? Could it be possible that because our raid teams only raid 2x /wk that our progression is a bit slower than an fc that raids 4-7x a week?

From the forums on your server, there are people still stuck on T5, FC's needing a merge, players looking for late night raiding, a raid grp that needs raiders badly enough to only require i80, etc.

So, it would appear that your server has some people that could possibly be interested in what we have going on here. We aren't stuck on T5, we're active/progressive enough to not need a merge, we offer late night raiding, and our raid groups (both of them) are geared i90+.

Don't get mad because we have something to offer that it seems would be of interest to the people of your server. We're just putting an option out there.

I honestly can care less about what your FC's philosophy is, to me it's just terrible excuses as to why you aren't doing content.

-There was one person who posted about being stuck on t5.
-Besides me posting about <RR>(which was posted after you posted this thread), who may not even want to merge into anyone that isn't WMN/Rise, the only posts about merging are into Zalerian FCs in which they want two small fcs to merge so they have like 20-30 members or something.
-The player looking for a late night progression group is from levi
-Maybe the raid group wants people i80 minimum instead of i90 because they want to progress as a team, also people in that group(if you're refering to <CA>) are mostly between i80-i90 so it's even more understandable that they wouldn't want some i90-i100 players in there group. The other i80 group <LiMo> is willing to gear people up for second coil.


The thing that I found most funny, and the reason I posted, was that a fresh FC came to Zalera (and apparently Zodiark and Ultros) to recruit. You're right though, you are providing people the option of paying 18 dollars to xfer into the same situation when they could just join an FC on Zalera like <LiMO> who seems to be providing more than your fc does.

By the way, you probably shouldn't advertise as a Progression FC when the only progression you've made is on t5 with echo buffs being out for a few weeks (Your website indicates that last saturday was your first down)

TL;DR: From just reading Zalerian forums, it's better to join <LiMo> if you're on zalera since they offer more than this FC and you don't have to pay 18 dollars.

Just because we got a later start on content does NOT mean we AREN'T progressive. It means we started late. Further, there are still people that can't get past T5 even WITH the echo, so your argument there is weak. Regardless, echo or not, we've PROGRESSED past it in only 3 attempts I might add. Just because our raid leaders didn't want a gimpy geared team going in there and waited for everyone to gear up with new 2.2 stuff does NOT make us non-progressive or weak, it makes us smart. Work smarter, not harder.

Sorry you're actually right. You guys are progressing, just because you decided to wait for i90+ gear and an echo buff to down t5 is no excuse for me to bash you guys or say 100% true statements such as "you're possibly one of the worst non-native FC's (in terms of progression) recruiting here. Well that's kinda not true. You guys (or atleast you as your join date on the forums indicates - "Join Date : Aug 2013") obviously decided to wait for the content to become easier (through gear and echo buff) before you decided to progress past it.

*Eyeroll* We weren't waiting for it to get easier, we were waiting for minimum accuracy requirements on our members and to fill out our raid team with permanent members. There aren't many people who like the weekend days raiding schedule, so it was slow growing the fc/raid team. Nice of you to comment when you don't have all the facts because you have no person knowledge of what you're talking about.


Further, AGAIN, just because our progress is behind some others (because we're adults with families and lives to tend to a majority of our free time) doesn't mean we're the "worst" anything. It means we worked hard for what we've got. And your personal opinion is just that, personal opinion and worth about nothing since everyone has one.

As for my join date, yes I've played since beta. But because I can only raid weekend days, I was unable to find a raid group that has exclusively that schedule until this fc here. So it indicates nothing except I've got a terrible schedule.

The i80 comment wasn't elitist. Coil turns all require a minimum/ideal level of accuracy to maximize player performance (i.e not missing hits). That increases with higher turns. Therefore, a higher ilvl is required. So, when a group is seeking ilvl 80, that means they are starting out. Are you going to go call them crap on their forum too? Because omg they MUST have waited for echo. They MUST be crap b/c they are so far behind you personally in progression. (sarcasm intended)

It's nice that you want to come troll me, but there are many on your server forums here that these same comments you've made to us could apply to. Why not go drop your load there too? Or are you afraid b/c you have to play with these people?

I don't think Wobbles meant that my FC <LiMo> was crap by saying that Our group is willing and wanting people that will work with each other. My minimum of i80 is cause some people are intimidated with high requirements that they dont consider l. I ask for that because it lets me see the play style that players have when I run with them, and can help correct or improve upon. It\\'s sometimes insulting having someone adjust when they are i90 and up. So I seek fresher 50s to create decent chemistry among groups for success in progressing. And wobbles is right about us offering help, even if our group is just starting we\\'re not trash and willing to take on the challenge to disregard the echo buffs. We\\'d like to improve and nurture our community in Zalera so that we don\\'t lower our population.

I\\'m only replying since there is a reference to my posts of supposedly needing i80 badly enough. LoL

Hey there,

As a part of this FC, I figured I would just chime in with my 2 cents (for whatever it's worth).

Statikos Circulus is a fun guild to be a part of. It's member are laid back, and cool to hang around with. Furthermore, Vynym is an incredibly skilled and dedicated player who works hard to ensure that all of our FC members can enjoy the content of the game. Our recruitment efforts on other servers are merely an attempt to find other players who share the same work/life circumstances and would be willing to join.

This is simply a recruitment thread. Ad hominem attacks on the quality of our guild are unnecessary. If you are not interested in joining, that`s perfectly fine - the post was not intended for you. If you are available on the weekends, and are interested in the FC environment/culture described above, we would be more than happy to have you along
