New and looking for a new free company

So a few weeks ago I bought the game and started playing again. Last time I touched FFIV was during it's beta over a year ago. So after working on my original character and getting further into the game I'm at the point where it helps to be with a free company and enjoy more aspects of the game.

From previous MMO's I'm kind of picky with guilds from past experience and pretty much a guild hopper a lot of the times.

I'm looking for something not really massive, kind of small maybe medium size guild that is easier to get to know everyone and work with. A active but casual guild that has progression in it but has fun and enjoys the game in any aspect. Kind of family like and easy going and mature. A friendly place to help each other and have fun really.

no website or VOIP required but a bonus if you do and don't mind chatting to get to know new friends better then by chat boxes.

Oh and I'm working on being a white mage healer spec.

Hello, welcome to FFXIV! Glad to see you're looking for an FC to join. Let me explain mine for your consideration.

My FC is a Miqo'te only FC called Death By Hairball. Now on the surface you may be thinking "oh man a cat only FC that must be either a creepy ERP FC or a weird cat RP FC". Well you would be wrong! We are actually a very down to Earth progression FC that's been around since 1.0 launch. We have many friendly and helpful members that enjoy doing things together as an FC. We currently have 58 members with about 10-15 online at peak hours (6-11pm CST mon-fri). We are about being a close knit family rather than a group of people who interact just for their own personal gain. At the moment we do weekly raids with the FC. Mon EX Primals, and tues/thurs coil.

Here's a list of our FC "selling points":
Medium size FC house in Lavendar beds equipped with all the bells and whistles.
58 Members
Mumble Server (Not a requirement)
Weekly Raids mon/tues/thurs
Progression based FC without the nasty elitism
All officers and majority of members are Experienced players and 1.0 veterans.
Friendly and helpful environment. Everyone is more than happy to help one another out.
Type of FC activies: A little bit of everything minus RP. We have some members that enjoy RP, but the FC itself is not an RP FC.

Seems you already have a lot of options but here is what i can offer -

You can take a look at our FC Laevis Amici - we are a mid sized fc with individuals of all levels and interests. We have TS and a site (though the site is mostly for reference). We review forming new static's on a monthly basis and if your actively looking our active raiding members can try to hook you up with any static slots we hear about where you might be a fit.
