^lack of account-bound features/items, content defeat-unlock gating, scenario gating, lots & lots more (regrinding pvp rank, so on & so forth).

I could go on for weeks.

Half of them you don't need if you focus on 1 character

About gearing the other jobs, the highest ilevel should go to the job you do coil, for every other content ilevel 100 is all what you need
