Free Company seems not working

The problem is that I'm playing the game for 25 days and I'm in a FC. At first I could see members talking and also their activities in log window. Also I had some status offered by the FC that were constantly at the status window.

Now both status disappeared and I still can't interact with them in the log window. I wonder if I've been blocked or anything. I don't remember doing anything wrong. I've already checked and I'm still a member of the FC, I'm active. Already checked the Character Configuration too and the Log Windows is fine and correct.

I've noticed this problem 5 days ago. Yesterday the status appeared and I could see people using the log window, but then it stopped again.

I want to know if Free Companies have individual rules, because I couldn't find it. Maybe I didn't contribute with something and they are now avoiding my participation until I do it. I don't know. I've read some of the information that the game offers but maybe I'm losing something.

Not sure what you mean by unable to see or interact via chat log. Any chance could show a screenshot to help? I do not think FC's have to ability to blind you from general FC chat and while I cannot see if they are simply ignoring your replies it seems unlikely they would be doing so as a guess. The obvious things to check is you have the correct tabs turned on, settings are all okay for chat/log box and your not in the wrong tab for example in a custom tab or battle tab instead of general chat type tab etc. If it is none of the obvious things then probably a glitch or bug.

Are other members on at the same time as you when you view that you're active? Perhaps they are just not talking?

All chats from every channel should always appear in your General chat log. If you want specific logs, you can create them by clicking on the little plus sign icon beneath the chat log. You can define what chats are able to be shown in the new log you're creating, as well as name it.

If this isn't working, then as Snugglebutt suggested, perhaps a screenshot will help.

Not sure if i understand, but if by status you mean, from character status where buffs and debuffs are, those are company actions and can only be activated by member with the authority to do so, but those have nothing to do with the chat log, may be you changed the log tag accidentally or they were just quiet.

There's no chat restriction, all i can say is that some FCs use LSs more than the FC to chat.

Ok... I'll try to explain again. Screenshots will be useless because you will see nothing different.

Problem 1): In the status bar (that one with icons showing that you are in speed, poisoned, sleep, stoned, etc...) used to appear 2 status offered by the FC constantly. One giving extra exp to its members and the other one I don't remember exactly. They are gone, they do not appear anymore. That could mean that the FC is not offering it anymore but I doubt that because Problem 2 also is happening.

Problem 2): I have the General tab that appears everything and I have configured another tab just for the FC. No FC interaction appears in both of them. The FC tab is blank completely since 5 days ago. As I said before, the configuration is OK, tabs are OK. Everything else is fine and working. I send messages to the FC chat (using the correct tab and correct chat option), but I have no return. I don't see people interacting either, and I'm sure that it's not because they are not interacting because they do interact all the time.

As I said, yesterday things seemed back to normal. The STATUS BAR was showing both status offered by the FC and the chat log was also showing their interactions. I thought that some maintenance had happened, but today problems were back.

What I really think is that maybe they tried to exclude me from the FC, but I'm still in the database. I don't know, I'm trying to figure out what happened.

xivdb is being weird filtering but this shows buffs and FC buffs. Your FC leader and or officers are being lazy and have no turned any back on.

The buffs have to be bought from your FC's affiliated GC. Only people with permission can do this. Once bought, they also have to be activated, again only people with permission can do this. The buffs last for 24 hours each time

1) the Fc actions require someone with rank to turn them on, if no one of that rank logs on for a day or two you won't get them. Or they log on but don't think about it because they don't normally do it.
2) It is just possible the people on during these "quiet times" just don't use FC chat that often. Have you tried initiating a conversation? if nothing else check who is logged on under the members tab and try asking them by name to confirm that they can see your message. Some people in my FC go weeks without saying anything in FC chat because they are occupied doing other things and they just don't need to seek out more chat when someone in the FC logs on.

I could be mistaken, but looking at your character info in lodestone, I don't see you registered in a Free Company.
