Is it possible to revamp Arcanist?

Not gonna happen.
Closest thing and what I secretly hope for is DRK not having any prerequisites means they'll nix the whole class system and every job will be all separate and whatnot.

you say it's not gonna happen like you know something we don't. please stop doing this. we don't know what they have planned and we won't know till they are ready to tell us.
personally, I'm still hoping they will nix the whole class system(removing the job crystals) and make all the classes into jobs revamping them into something useful(while keeping the existing jobs ofcourse)

I was saying if they did revamp the class, but they revamped it in a dumb way where your pet does all of the hard work and you sit in the back buffing party members. That was just me throwing spitting out bad ideas, because I really don't know what a real summon class is. Is it just a class where you summon a beast and it does all of the work or what? FF14 hasn't really shown me what a real pet class is. If they did change the class into something else how would they go about it?

for Arcanist, I would like them to play like the existing Summoner job in this game does and have them change the existing Summoner job to something a bit more like the one in FFXI.
