Is it possible to revamp Arcanist?

Once again i believe he meant to say DEBUFF class, as in he feels ACN needs more damage outside of just DoTs in the rare event that a mob hits the 60 DoT cap and no more are able to be applied, essentially at that point a Summoners damage drops considerably as they will only have pets and Ruin II

I was saying if they did revamp the class, but they revamped it in a dumb way where your pet does all of the hard work and you sit in the back buffing party members. That was just me throwing spitting out bad ideas, because I really don't know what a real summon class is. Is it just a class where you summon a beast and it does all of the work or what? FF14 hasn't really shown me what a real pet class is. If they did change the class into something else how would they go about it?
