[Housing Fix Suggestion] Summoning Bells

So I had this really nice idea of putting the Summoning Bell for our FC house inside our bar because its at the right height to look like its resting on the bar..

I assumed the Retainers would sense the furniture (the bar) and stand behind it.. but nope they just walked straight through it.

This led me to fix it by making an opening in our bar like shown in the screenshot.

Would it be so hard to make the retainers recognise furniture and not stand inside it?

I'd love for this. I have mine in the corner between two L shaped corner stalls and for myself and FC members our retainers walk right through the bar and stand there like you said.
