More Glamour restrictions

It sort of raises questions about other glamour restrictions. A mage can't glamour their robe to look like heavy plate armour because they couldn't function as a mage while wearing heavy plate. That's why we have the "must be wearable by your class/job" rule. But a tank can glamour their plate armour to look like a bikini. Is that really any less inappropriate?

SE should just change the class requirement for bikini from "all class" to "all class except tanks"

If you want a real complaint about glamour, complain about the stuff you can't glamour. For example the Odin Armor, Herklaedi. The whole point of the Odin Armor is for vanity, but yet you cant glamour your armor into it. That makes no sense. SE please make it so that we can glamour the Odin Armor, now that we have the Sleipnir mount, its time.

Unless they finally implemented the glamour for it, can anyone confirm?

they should just have an option to disable to view other peoples glamours, thats a more suited system, just like how frontlines used to work, that was much better.

Now this is an option I could get behind. I'm certainly not going to stop glamouring subligars and booty shorts on my male Miqo'te, but I understand that that much hotness might be distracting for some players, so there's no reason you shouldn't be able to toggle it off. I wouldn't want the tank's mind to wander when he's supposed to be protecting me!

It could actually be useful even if you like looking at other people's glamours; it would be nice to be able to toggle off glamours temporarily, rather than having to get a glamour-dispeller and then re-do the glamour again if you just want to see what an outfit would look like with the natural appearance of that item.

If you were here in the days before glamour, you remember how boring it was because EVERYONE LOOKED THE SAME.

I would prefer it if everyone could glamour everything. The restrictions are pretty arbitrary. If tanks can glamour a bikini, why not a robe? We already don't look like our jobs most of the time. Some of the crafting/gathering gear is really nice. People could look more unique if we had more choice.

It's restricted in a really weird way, imo.
