Dark Knight Guts/Berserk

Am I the only one that got insanely hyped for dark knight when they said that the job has influence from guts from berserk? Was an interview from the London Fan Festival.

Yeah but if they can make it feel dps like I wont mind as much I guess. Warrior kinda felt like a dps. I just know my memories of dark knight from FF11 could get destroyed but I am hoping for the best.

Well Later on in the series he does become a DPS-Tank taking the brunt of the damage for his team.

Given the beating he takes over the course of the series and the enemies he faces, he's as tank-y as you can get without being, well, the things he's fighting. A guy who loses a limb and an eye but still keeps fighting is definitely tankworthy to me.

Maybe they will make him some kind of off-tank, a middleground between tank and DPS. I guess I could live with that. Or even better - make the player decide whether they want to play it as tank by using defensive skills or as DD with offensive skills and sacrificing HP to deal more damage. That would be a good compromise.

Survives terrible wounds and continues to take swings at the enemy? Check.
Holds the attentions of every hostile within sword reach? Check.

Sounds pretty tanky to me :P

I named my Black Lab after Guts from Berserk...unfortunately when he was a puppy I didn't take him hunting, instead he stayed home with my wife and watched The Sound of Music. Now the only thing he like about hunting is frolicking through the fields. I should have named him Rainbow or something. ><
