Sadly, the devs are really busy at the moment, which is why I can only give you information on the water element at this point.
Das Element "Wasser" wurde nicht komplett aus dem Spiel entfernt, es wird weiterhin Monster geben, die euch mit wasserbasierten magischen Sprüchen attackieren werden.
The element "water"has not been completely removed from the game. There will continue to be monsters that will attack you with water-based spells.

I've spoken with the devs and they wish to report that they are working on increasing the number of monsters that are only active at night. Simultaneously, they are also working on other modifications to make the night more delicious (read: interesting) for you.

Ausrüstung muss für eine recht lange Zeit getragen werden, so dass eine persönliche Beziehung (emotionale Bindung) zu den Gegenständen entsteht. Erst dadurch kann Materia gewonnen werden. Wenn man Materia durch Dungeons oder das Besiegen von Bossen erhalten könnte, würde das gegen die Idee arbeiten, die hinter dem Materia-System steht. aber prinzipiell waere es einfach nur schoen, wenn es wieder einen grund gaebe, sich den schweren dungeon und seinen bossen zu stellen. also mehr als die herrausforderung an sich. wenn dabei nichts rausspringt, ist es immer so schwer mitstreiter zu finden~

				There was a small follow-up post to this that essentially said the same thing.In Bezug auf die Überarbeitung der Klassen bereiten sie zur Zeit die benötigten Aktionen vor was bedeutet, dass es vorerst keine wasserbasierten Angriffssprüche geben wird. Anpassungen an der Spielbalance können jedoch jederzeit vorgenommen werden und es ist möglich, dass diese Sprüche dann wieder hinzugefügt werden.

The further back in history the era is, the less clues we have that can tell us as to what exactly happened. Those who live in Eorzea now can only speculate and construct a picture of the past based on myths and lore.
But because the still rather recent 6th Umbral Era (although it was already about 1,500 years ago) was such a highly significant event in history, there are still many records on the topic that allow us to reconstruct what happened.

6. The Umbral Era of Water. Severe flooding caused the submersion and damage of many parts of Eorzea.
Da alle sechs Katastrophen auf den sechs Elementen basieren, haben die Menschen geglaubt, dass es keine weitere geben wird. Aufgrund der Entdeckung der 7. Prophezeiung Mezayas fangen sie nun jedoch an, an eine bevorstehende 7. Katastrophe zu glauben.
Because all six Umbral eras are based on the six elements, the people have believed that there will be no more. But since the discovery of the 7th Verse of Mezaya's prophesy, they are instead beginning to believe in an impending 7th Umbral Era.

				Wow that's really interesting. The flooding thing in particular is pretty exciting. Yoshi-P said that when they introduce swimming it would be in an expansion-type deal with underwater ruins and if so much of the world is submerged there could be a lot of stuff down there =)



			
			
				Well, this was in the past some 1,500 years ago, so it's not like the same thing is guaranteed to happen again.
On the other hand, there is this thing called the echo...
Also, that sequence of eras matches the elemental cycle in all but one respect - the Eorzean clock/calendar starts with ice rather than wind.

				This time, Sasu is asking a question about inventory management. People may want to start a topic on this matter to hand to our own reps accordingly.
So to clarify, since that was a mouth full, have a tab for gear, a tab for materia, a tab for ingredients etc, but where their content is still limited by an overall 200 items restriction shared between the tabs.Ich habe mit den Devs gesprochen und sie fragten mich ob es in Ordnung für euch wäre, wenn ihr mehr Kategorien/Reiter/Tabs (wie auch immer ihr es nennen möchtet) bekommt, um alles übersichtlicher zu gestalten, sich diese Kategorien aber den gesamten Umfang des Inventars teilen würden (Momentan die 200 Slots) ?
I've spoken with the devs and they have asked me if would be ok by you guys to get more catagories/sections/tabs (whatever you want to call it), in order to make things have a better overview? Although all of these categories would cover the full inventory space (currently 200 slots).
Initial response from the German forum-users has been very positive.

				That item-tabs thread got some German commentary, with a notable desire to ensure that tabs would not have inventory limites for each tab (ie: 100 max materials + 50 max gear + 25 max weapons + 25 max other = 200 max slots = bad restriction) and then this response.
Not wanting to single you out Licont, because it's not just you and I don't expect you to know better, but from time to time people who can't speak German try contributing in the German forums and it really doesn't look good, especially in a German culture that has a very high appreciation for good structure. I'll make a note on the top post to give people the heads-up about this issue.Guten Morgen ihr lieben,
