You are a Maelstrom, so I'm guessing that there are at least 200 more Maelstrom PvPers queuing than either Adders or Immortal Flames on Chaos when you started.

GC imbalance is the main cause of long Frontlines queue times.

Thats not really true. I know people jump on maelstrom bandwagen because they win most of the time. But, its not true that Maelstrom does have a bigger amount of pvp players on Chaos. I have queue times between 5-15 minutes most of the time and i am maelstrom. I always see the same players in every of my games, so the amount of maelstrom players cant be that high at all.

I would never wait that long for a queue. I wait 20-25 mins max and then withdraw and re-queue. Most of the time you get a match the second queue very quickly. SEs matchmaking system definitely needs improvement. All (5) members of our RL family play and I can watch my son sit in queue for 15-20 mins and still be waiting. I will queue and get in right away while he is still waiting. We are from the same GC. It just doesnt make any sense. Broken a$$ $hit.

I wonder what exactly about queues is broken. As in, what causes the queue time gap in your case.

Can you compare a few things for me between your son's character and your own? Maybe it'll give some sort of hint as to the difference.

Both of you are the same Grand Company and World, right? Do you both have the same language settings as per the queue system (only English selected, all languages, etc)? What class do you each tend to queue as? If you personally queue as different classes often enough to notice, does the class you queue as seem to effect your personal queue times? What are both of your respective PvP Ranks?
