No, you must first do Hildibrand 2.5 to beat Gilgamesh EX.
Then you have to talk to Bard!Yoshi to unlock Ultros/Typhon EX
Then you have to do that 50 times to earn an achivement and Excalipur
THEN you take Excalipur to gerolt along with everything you need to get a relcic (Oil, 3 Mist, Ink, and 12 Atma) and voilua you get Excalubut (and to start Hildibrand 3.0 quests Doing that will get you the Real Excalibur

"SYSTEM COMMAND! OBJECT ID <<EXCALIBUR>>, GENERATE!"
(well, in the EN dev blog, they pulled this pun anyways)

So you can use only the very tip of this weapon?
With us coming to the end of Crystal Tower, could this be related to Eureka? That is where Excalibur, as well as some other of the most powerful weapons, could be found in FF3. They had originally said we would go to Eureka, but then I think they said they were going to do something a little different with it.
Ah, here it is.
Crystal Tower has been mostly following with FFIII, so after this dungeon I'm hoping there are two more? What are you thinking?
Since the Forbidden Land Eureka is more of a treasure vault than a dungeon, there's a high likelihood that we may use it in a different way. The presence of the Cloud of Darkness and the World of Darkness will become clear at the end of Syrcus Tower, and Doga and Unei will appear and may come into play in the storyline.
Dont know if any1 has said this but if you take the curtana atma model and take the silver edge off of it it matches the sword model curve for curve![]()
Look up the fight mechanic. At a certain % of HP he will split into 2 clones one false one real with no way to tell which is which. A 50/50 shot, if you kill the true, the fight is over. False, more clones. Most LSes wiped after killing a false if they even made it that far. Clone stage is basically a DPS check or its a wipe.
Embrava didn't matter.
With Embrava, Arch Dynamis Lord was easy though. If you got the right clone, it was laughable. If you didn't, the game basically said "F*ck you" and kicked you in the crotch. Nobody wiped to Arch Dynamis Lord because he was hard or a challenge, they wiped because the RNG decided to bend them over and go in raw. Everything in the game was trivial after that spell was introduced, the only reason Arch Dynamis Lord had such a mechanic was because the developers knew Embrava rendered all his other mechanics completely moot. Embrava is probably 90% of why I quit that game, it destroyed balance and turned endgame into an exercise in coin flipping, rather than something challenging.
Why I said it was no easy task for an avg XI LS between the 50/50 fight mechanic and DPS check and just organizing it with "specific" jobs to counter DL. Most Relic owners joined separate LSes just for Arch. Embrava was nerfed partially due to Arch DL and Nyzul. Perfect Defense Arch Odin/DL and a few other fights. With Embrava, Arch Dynamis Lord was easy though. If you got the right clone, it was laughable. I'm not gonna argue about Embrava, I feel the same way as you. The 50/50 mechanic was the no easy task being random, the fight wasn't a 100% win and why most avg LSes wiped. No where did I mention a challenge.
