So the sword of the king of Britain doesn't have any link to the sword that crown British monarchs ?I have my doubts that it is though. As the Curtana has no relationship to Excalibur (assuming the sword in the OP's post is indeed Excalibur). Given the Japanese love to draw from foreign history/culture in their games (especially SE with the Final Fantasy series) Curtana was a ceremonial sword used during the crowning of a British monarch. Curtana also draws links to the swords Durendal and Almace in French folklore in the Song of Roland. I can see Curtana becoming the Almace or Durendal, but Excalibur wouldn't make sense.
Either way that sword looks like it was made of wax, and someone left it near an open heat source for too long.
