That doesn't mean "completely divorced from reality." This just doesn't look like a serviceable weapon.

Gold globs do not make for a cutting edge. You are more like to annoy your target than really hurt it.

Nearly every single unique weapon in this game would be absolutely useless in real life. Chances are if a weapon looks cool it is completely ineffective. This is no exception. Enjoy the fantasy weapon designs as this is a fantasy game.
