They would never notice that you're a 30-INT SCH unless you told them that you're a 30-INT SCH. Hell, there are so many mediocre SMN out there that they might not notice if you're a 30-MIND SMN either. >__> I did 30 INT on my SCH though, and have SCH healed everything up to T10 without issue.
Scholar does not have weak heal potential. Straight up comparing the base heal amounts for the two of them and not taking anything else into account is a huge mistake. I'm definitely more willing to take a SCH for a solo heal run than a WHM because of the damage mitigation, the burst heal potential of lustrate, and the assistance of the pet.
This, exactly. Personally, I love the SCH playstyle; the proactive damage prevention is fun to me. ^^
The Summoner has an inherent design flaw that's why there are alot of mediocore Summoner's. With Summoner players can get their rotation just right but if players don't use intelligent and poisoning potions the dps hit is noticeable. The Arcanist is built for the Scholar so naturally a few stat points won't hurt it while the Summoner will notice the affect of missing 30 int right away. They would never notice that you're a 30-INT SCH unless you told them that you're a 30-INT SCH. you not liking how it works isnt a design flaw. smns being top or second dps when played good in current fights begs to differ on what you think. The Summoner has an inherent design flaw that's why there are alot of mediocore Summoner's.
