It's like this because at this point, Arcanist is the only class you can level and get both a DPS and a Healer role in just a single grind. It has already been said that this will go away once more classes branch into other jobs, diminishing the clear advantage Arcansist has at this point over every other class. In the meantime, those who plan on using both Summoner and Scholar should go ahead and use all attribute points on INT. The 30 points you'll loose from Mind is about 100 HP for every Physick and it really doesn't make a difference in any fight at this moment. In fact, many of the healers that push progression on new endgame instances use VIT.

Yoshi already said they are scraping the class system for future jobs, so Arcanist is going to be the only class to have this problem.

Actually this makes or breaks T10. If you don't have just enough MND your Adlo won't cover the entirety of Prey, and then death/wipe follows.
