ST trolling

More and more I seem to be getting people into party/alliance that do nothing for entire run, stand around starting point and BOOM, when sands/oils pop, they are there to lot them! This is really annoying cause you cannot even vote kick them. You either have people rushing or loot waiting to get rolled on. Only thing that you can do is report them and HOPE you never run into them again.

Please do something about this

Yeah they would just purposely die so they can warp out to starting point and then get "locked out" till the fight clear and repeat this for the entire run. Is it more rampant problems in US or European servers? I don't see it much in japan servers.

Do what? They can't prevent trolling, they provide a tool to deal with griefers, vote kick, but it requires the whole party to agree with you, if you party is running to chests then maybe they don't agree or don't care about it.

There is a small window to initiate vote kick right before people open chest, but you must have the party list open right as the boss dies.

This is what happend to me two days ago. I joined ST and I noticed that one player was doing nothing, he entered the stage and went afk. After two warnings, I decided to share my findings with everyone in the Alliance. If its one thing players hate its carrying someone, so we decided to kick him out. This troll was not stupid, so he let the loot timer continue until it ended and when we waited untill the loot timer was done, he started attacking the boss. As a Alliance we decided to wipe and kick him out. Is it a little extreme? Probaly, but atleast this little Fudger is not leeching anymore.

As a Alliance you guys need to stand toghter and kick those trolls out, SE can not manage the players, they can only add some tools like the Vote Kick to force them out. If your Alliance does not care if someone is leeching, then you have no choice but to deal with it.

SE needs to extend the lockout penalty to people that get kicked too. Like the withdraw spam, it'll eventually get them to stop acting this way.

Yeah but sometimes people get kicked for no troll reason, just because they aren't deemed by the other party good enough <o<; so I don't think it would be fair

I actually tried that couple of times during that run, but I guess I timed it wrong.

I've seen this happen also. Healer in ST vote kicked dragoon from duty because he died too many times on Scylla. In his defence I have to say that he was frozen all those times, and no one helped him.

Since it's alliance content the rest could make up for the mistake, but Dragoons (and Ninjas) do tend to almost always be dead and healers tend to waste so much MP raising them lol. So in the healer's defense, normally you do get rid of the weakest link in your party, so frozen or no frozen, you can still heal them (and chances are your healers were using Succor/Medica II, which is enough to keep them up) but if the DRG wasn't near your party area to get hit by the AoE healing..that's also a problem. So it sounded more like an overall alliance problem if they weren't being broken out of ice at all.

I was on a run the other night, where the other Healer decided to not do anything, because people were removing the Alliance marks, and they were adamant that they should be there.

Prior to that, the individual decided to have a whine about the fact that they were put into Alliance A, and due to that, they wouldn't be able to manage the Scylla battle correctly (some perceived understanding that there are no flame orb spawns in A, or something?) Regardless, it was utterly ridiculous that said person refused to heal anyone for these reasons, and we wiped as I couldn't manage the heals by myself after getting frozen.
