I absolutely hate having to stretch my fingers super far so I only use the numbers 1-6 for my skills and instead make sure to utilize Q,E,R,F as well:

1-6: HS, SS, BB, Maim, SP, SE
Ctrl 1-6: Tomahawk, OP, Flash, Fracture, Awareness, Bloodbath
Shift 1-6: Berserk, Vengeance, Thrill of Battle, Internal Release, Foresight, Convalescence
QERF: Brutal Swing, Inner Beast, Unchained, Streel Cyclone
Ctrl QERF: Infuriate, Provoke, Mercy Stroke, Holmgang

For my Hotbars, I have 3 stacked for the 1-6 skills and a vertical hotbar to the side containing the QERF skills. I also bind my thumb mouse button to Ctrl to make it MUCH easier to hit the Ctrl skills.
