Friend/recruitment code for special items and things (use before paying first sub) RACN78W5 (updated) info on items here http://sqex.to/Cz9 code is entered via the mogstation.

Personally, to me it feels backwards.
The job that felt like it should have been a DPS was turned into a tank class, and the job that feels like it should have been a tank is going to be a DPS class.
Nothing is set in stone yet. If Red Mage and Samurai are released at the same time and Red Mage is a dps then Samurai will most likely be a tank. Releasing two dps jobs at the same time seems like a bad idea. Of course it's very possible that Samurai could be the dps job and Red Mage could be a tank. Looking at how Summoner and Bard are implemented in this game anything is possible at this point.
If they from now on go with 2 jobs per expansion, it will probably be a dps/tank combo or a dps/healer combo, switching off every new expansion.

Well, if we take into account that Red Mages in the FF series are able to use both whm and blm as well as melee this could quite possibly be the first true hybrid class ive seen in the game. If this were the case then I could see them implementing sam as dps without worry of the 1 tank 1 dps per expansion argument.

All I want in life is such:
Samurai-Tank
Red Mage-DPS
Dancer-Healer

I can't imagine a samurai attacking an opponent from behind![]()

Why don`t, in real life and history they were really dirty and greedy high class scum who kept on betraying each other and doing all kind of treacherous things to get an advantage over others. Ninjas on the other hand... Most loyal servants ever.
But what will Red Mage be?!
I bet it's going to be a healer.
I just want a DPS class that uses a sword as a weapon. I'm getting really annoyed that every time they add a new sword-wielding class, it's always a tank.
