You're right that It's the same for the roulette and I certainly prefer the 2.4 expert roulette to the 2.3 expert roulette. The hunts did make it much much much faster to gain alexandrite in 2.3, so I get the complaint. It was easily the fastest way to get myth in the game and gave you the extra perk of every 10 A ranks was another alexandrite over and above the maps from myth.
