Swapping items from inventory & retainers

I wonder if SE would ever put something where we can see what all of our retainers & inventory have at the same time and swap out items to organize them better. It's just a little too time consuming taking one item from 1 retainer and put it in your inventory. Leave retainer and call the other retainer and put it in there. I want to be able to have each retainer to have their specific use as in one for gear, another for weapons & another for crafting and miscellaneous stuff. As of right now it is tedious to do that, so I hope maybe someday they can let us have a way to view all retainer items at the same time and swap things around easier.

Also, when it comes to gearing my retainer, or yourself actually, if I have an item I want to equip that's in my inventory, can you just put the old item in the inventory slot of the new item, instead of having me put something out of my Armory Chest (or whatever it's called) and put in inventory, then place the item from my inventory in the Armory Chest to equip it.

I hope this makes sense.

I agree. Instead of having the retainers each have different inventories, let them both show you the same combined view. In fact, let each retainer put up 40 items, for a total of 40. in other words for everything except the gear and venture menus, they should both do the same menus.

Separating them like they are now serves no real gameplay purpose. i suspect it's more a technical/db issue, but it's incredibly cumbersome and poorly thought out as is.

I'm sure they will, assuming they aren't working on this already.

My guess if we won't see any retainer interface improvements until after the expansion, and especially before they give us the option to have more than four retainers. Managing four is enough of a chore, I really don't want to think of what a pain it would be trying to manager more than that, especially with the interface we have currently.

The inventory and storage system for this gamefeels so backwards and out of date,compared to the rest of the game.They really need to revamp it,it's just messy and laborious.

Tbh,i'm not very happy that you have to pay extra for extra space that comes with 2 more retainers either...

If you're going to throw so many items into the game,you need to give players fit for purpose storage options.

+1 on showing both retainer inventories.

Try doing that with FC chest.

Just to put 1 freaking item in...

Taking it out is slightly better because you can right click it instead of dragging the damn thing over to your inventory, still. It's a terrible UI.

You can't accept the party invite because you're crafting bullshit..

theres an option in game that lets you put items directly into your armoury chest or inventory when bought or crafted... would imagine its the same for retainers, fc chest.. however ive never tried it out and have always left it on default.

im out of game right now but its in the config menu somewhere.
