Sneak attack underpowered

i have just got sneak attack and i really find it is underpowered it does less damage then my standard attacks i would think that it would do extra damage not less

Why would you ever sneak attack at 50? >_>

Anyway, Sneak Attack is your highest single potency attack. If it's doing less damage than your normal attack, it's because you're not attacking from the front with it.

Anyway, Sneak Attack is your highest single potency attack. If it's doing less damage than your normal attack, it's because you're not attacking from the front with it.

not exactly front, you don't need to be exactly at where the target facing, just need to be some where there

There's a class trait that increases its potency dramatically. I'd link to it, but most sites still have the old, "mistranslated" Shadowstalker trait in its place. It's the level 32 trait. With it, Sneak Attack's potency becomes 300, or 500 when used in front of the target, at which point it becomes astoundingly potent.

Until you get the trait, though, Sneak Attack does feel a tad impotent.
