Just a rant from someone actually playing

But at what point do you listen to the small majority of people playing over the large ammount who might play if the game was a way they wanted?

Don't get me wrong, i'm not up for unfounded opinions... but at some point people aren't playing for a reason. That reason might be great for you... but it might be keeping everyone else away.

For instance... i won't touch this game again until i feel like a class has a purpose for me to play... And i'm not the only one, but are we the majority? Who knows? Most of the people who aren't playing probably don't check the forums unlike those who do play and say "all is well" with broken thing.

Most of the people PLAYING the game don't check the forums because they're too busy actually enjoying the game instead of complaining about it.

It's just people aren't being constructive at all. Making threads saying "where are the airships??? where are the chocobos???" and "I HATE SURPLUS" makes the English speaking players seem like crybabies and isn't helping anyone. SE is obviously going to add more jobs and there is obviously going to be chocobos and airships, that is more than a given.

People who have no experience are either calling for systems to be thrown out of the game because they don't understand them fully or trying to put random stuff they want personally in the game.
They aren't talking about improving the game.


I don't think anyone thinks this game is perfect but the devs have shown that they are on basically the right track.

This couldn't be any more true. Things will change for the better, it is obvious. Do you all think XI and WoW all came out in prefect condition? No, of course not. And XI was in Japan about a year and a half before anyone else even got it, so we did not even experience all the beginning-of-the-game problems that it had.
