    The entire problem is latency.
    (I make the assumption you aren't playing from the US on a US server here)

    I play from Australia on a US server, the ping in general for XIV is unstable, fluctuates between 250 and 400. (on WoW its a rock solid 180. I do not know why its so weird with XIV)
    If i try to cast a Mudra right on the Global Recast as it becomes available, latency will kick in and skip a Mudra input most of the time.
    The way i get around this is to press the first Mudra in my intended combo, wait a half second to hear the little 'shing' noise of a buff being applied, then rapidly hit the next 2 Mudras in the combo. I do not know why latency breaks 3 Mudras in a row, but works fine on 2 casts, but it is what it is.

    This works for me to get a Mudra combo properly out in under 2 seconds.

    I notice this is a big issue. I am able to cast mudras just fine sometimes, then other times one of them wont go off and will mess up the whole mudra chain.
    I have also noticed it seems heavily reliant on connection speed, you lag even a little, or have a higher ping they fail to go off sometimes. I tested this theory using macros as well.
    I macro'd Huton like this:

    /ac Jin <wait..5>
    /ac Chi <wait..5>
    /ac Ten <wait..5>
    /ac Ninjutsu <me>

    With the wait..5 the wait timer ends up being .5s and it does work if my connection doesnt lag at all. However, I have only seen the whole chain macro'd like this work ONCE. When I extended the wait to ..7 The chain would almost always go off unless I lagged (which during the free login weekend started happening alot) but using the wait..7 also extends the length of time it takes to cast the ninjutsu. I found that <wait..75> worked the best while it was macro'd and almost always casted successfully.

    However, since all of this adds .25s to each mudra action to cast in a macro, I actually do my mudra combos by hand since its just faster. Though even by hand it can still mess up my rotation if I lag and one of them doesnt go off. Which is extremely frustrating in high level battles where I need to dodge and still be able to hit the mudras quickly.

    This don't work well at all, there can't be .5 wait it's only units, so 1, 2 or 3 etc.. not 1.5 or 0.4. so it's a bad idea to use it with the jutsus as it makes you lose more time than anything, the .5 wait will automatically be changed to 1 sec wait.

    The thing is there is some kind of pre-click function, if you click a skill on CD 0.5 sec before it's ready it's locked for the game and it will cast it when it's ready, so you click the first mudra, the second directly so it's registered, but if the 3rd mudra come too fast it can either not register the 3rd click, or override the 2nd mudra.

    lololink already said it, but still going to explain. macros do not work in .x. they only work in whole numbers, so no matter what, you are losing at least 2 seconds using that macro. then there is the chance that it misfires.

    I've noticed that sometimes I do mundras super fast and other times not.
    I can't explain it, it's a feeling thing, I blamed latency for it but if others are having a similar case then maybe it's a thing?

    Also, don't macro mundras, you'll lose DPS and a whole lot of it.
    It's convenient but slow, only do that if you're low on keys to press on your keyboard or something.
    I used macros and they screwed my ninjutsu more than anything.

    I realize its only whole numbers but oddly enough it appeared to work for the others in my LS who also attempted it. When they tried it with <wait.1> timer it took even longer than the <wait..7> to cast. I dont know if its that the system sees the oddball wait time and just bypasses it or what have you, but for some reason it ended up being faster at casting the Combo. Like I stated in my post though, I don't use it anyways because Im still faster at doing it by hand. so whatever.

    I have a steady 72-74ms to my server, it hardly ever spikes, the server itself has a 0.1s (100ms) so it means the only delay should be 172-174ms, which is less than 0.5s, yet this keeps happening.

    At this point I just slow down a bit to not fail it but that already means a DPS loss.
