90k epidemic continues

The lag was pretty bad for me on Balmung. We were trying to do Turn 6 but gave up because most of us were lagging so badly and two of us 90ked at one point. Then we did Battle on the Bridge, which was a little better, although I 90ked out of that as well. And even after I decided not to run a dungeon and maybe just Fate farm for Atma, I got 90ked again, and gave up at that point.

Logged in at about 7pm EST and it was lagging pretty bad. Waited a while and thought it got better and went into EXDR with friends. Lagged so bad that I can barely tank single pull mobs and eventually disconnected fighting Yeti. Couldnt log back on and kept getting 2002 error which immediately closes my client. Still couldnt log on even after they reached the last boss so I told them to just finish without me. Still lagging right now.

I'm using a vpn with the game so I thought it might the vpn connection but it's performing nicely on everything else, just not the game. The friends I DR'd with wasnt having any problems so I still thought it's on my end until another friend started complaining about the lag and I found this thread. Really weird for me considering free weekend is over and I havent had any serious issues since 2.4 till now.

The issue seems to have stabilized a tiny bit on Phoenix, but I've noticed that my roommate gets so many more 90ks than I do. We're on the same wireless, but I'm running on a PS3 versus her Laptop.

Are the 90ks really that much more prevalent on the PC versions?

I hate it when got 90k and followed by 2002 it took me more than 5 mins to log in.

Had two of 'm a few days ago. Might have been during the free login weekend.

I wish we had more stable servers though. I have this feeling they went for a cheaper option which is still good, but for a sub I'd expect the best servers.

Same thing here, in my static out of 8 people 6 of them were lagging. Almost had to call the raid because lag + T9 = disaster.

I use a VPN and I've still been getting 90ks and lag spikes/horrible loading times.

Hi All,

I'd encourage you to write up a Bug (in the proper format) and post it in the Bugs Forum. I know it's a pain, but every bit of feedback SE gets will help them and us alleviate this 90k Issue.
