This may need to be a whole separate system, but I would also love to see it have options where FC leaders can post requests with a certain amount of FC Seals as a reward. Then FC Leaders could also post items requiring a certain number of FC Seals to get the item. FC Seals would be lost if the FC is left. This would help create a reason some members may want to contribute to the FC.

As an example, if you have a rare tradable minion you can mark it for 50 FC Seals. Well, if the FC really needs gil, so they can upgrade to a bigger estate the Leader could assign 50,000 gil to be equal to 25 FC Seals. If a FC member really wanted that minion, they could pay 100,000 to the FC and earn 50 FC Seals and pay the 50 FC seals for the minion.

Recap: FC Leader would have to place items (items are not just obtained). FC Members would contribute to FC Leaders goals and feel like they are getting something in return.

It would be nice if we could do more with FCs to give FCs more reasons to bond. Maybe one day we'll get these things:

- Crafting requests like Ranko mentioned would be awesome
- Bulletin board for events, jokes, etc
- Monthly/weekly event calendar
- FC ALLIANCE
- Bonus exp, seals, gil, etc for running content with FC members. Like maybe an extra 2-5% per FC member in your party
- Open world alliance content
- FC store. Members could throw items up for sale and the money can be split between the FC chest and the seller.

I feel that there really isn't a reason beyond socializing to join a FC. Adding more incentive might help bring people close together and help make FCs more tightly knit.

There's short messages in the free company menu but there really needs to be one for long ones. Like a notice board.

I respect your opinion. Though it would be very similar to if when car companies were looking for ways to improve the safety of their cars and someone had an idea to install airbags and seat belts to protect against high speed collisions, then another person saying that it is a waste of research and development, just add a 5mph speed governor so you can't drive so fast.

Yes, a website could do this. But adding features in game is what makes it a luxury ride you want to show off to friends instead of a trade in.

It would be awesome if non FC members could leave messages for us too. Like if they liked your house they could be like "yooo your house is awesome!" or whatever, and just leave the message there. xD

I love this idea. It would be great to have an in game bulletin board. My FC has a website and a ts server but rarely ever gets used except for someone needing to look at the guides my fellow FC leaders and I had posted . To have something that gave our members more reason to interact and do things within the FC would be awesome. I also like the quest system that rift uses for guilds and would love for something to that effect be added to FFXIV that would give ppl a reason to go out and do things for the fc while also earning more FC credits
