Isn't this the one where you speak to Tataramu first? He is standing pretty much next to the Ixal that gives the quest. Didn't think it was that hard to miss since the map marker is right there.

The Amid the Flowers quest is not very much further of a run, much less time that the added crafting time for high wind.
You're looking at about 3 minutes minimum to do high wind. I just did the 3 mor dhonna non-gathering quests in under 7 minutes, combined, on an alt character, using 2.0 crafting gear with a ilvl70 WAR.
But dem squats be keeping his buns n thighs tight tho
Clearly the problem lies with the game and not you.
I'm so sick of this quest, unlike all the other oaknot dailies, you have to speak with speak with the NPC in north shroud before going to the other zone. This is total crap, I just forgot talk to him before teleporting out to CCH for what must be the 5th time. Please fix this!!!!

At least 50 seconds of my time was slightly inconvenienced by this guy!
LOL, I can feel ya. The entire concept of the Ixali quests is HORRIBLE speaking of Convinience/Comfort and time consumption. Let's have a look at how these last Tier quests work on a daily base.....
- You port to North Shroud. Oh, all quests are in red - Change to a DOH to obtain them
- Get your six quests through clicking hell and short waiting times for the NPC's to respond
- Pray that not all six quests are connected to Fisher, Botanist and Miner or else you will be screwed by RNGesus
- Do not forget to look at the NPC Tataramu because otherwise you need to port back from Coerthas to North Shroud and back to Coerthas.
- Port to Coerthas and then:
a) either switch back to your combat class and wait till your skills are ready before you kill the enemies you have to kill
b) switch to any of your DOH you need for the quest and be annoyed from the amount of fails you experience before you get your items. Your DOH are well equipped and all the Miner and Botanist Nodes are Level 1? Well, screw you nevertheless! Our Little RNG routines take care that you will have an indefinite amount of tries till you have collected what you need.
- Return the items to up to three different people and again, lots of clicks to point at each item.
- Switch again to your DOH and do not forget to put your Ixali gloves on
- In Coerthas, you have various debuffs so after each item, check that you have the right one and ONLY the one you have to have and click the other debuffs away. Best way is to accept only one craft quest, craft the items, click the debuff away and get the next one. WOW.
- Port to Mor Dhona and options a) and b) from Coerthas and the returning ceremony of items are repeating. Switching characters 1-3 times and waiting for cool downs included. Good Thing: all three quests use the same debuff so at least here a few clicks less.
- Woohooo, almost done! Port back to North Shroud, switch your character AGAIN to a DOH and again, experience a clicking hell when you return the quest items and be sure, if you have two times the same quantity of an item, you WILL choose the wrong one on your first try to give them to the NPC.
So SE designed it this way, tested it thoroughly and thought it is a good idea having to do a thousand clicks, ports and character changes (Little exaggaration, I know but still)? LMAO and WOW at the same time.
The other beast tribes quests in comparison: Port to the map they are in, accept them, ride to the enemies, kill them, go back and in 20 minutes you are done with your six quests.
I actually enjoyed the beast tribe quests so far. Have max friendship with them all and if I had the time, I still did them although there was no reward other than a bit GIL and tomes. And I switched the tribes almost each day for variety. But they made the Ixali so mandatory if you have DOH and DOL, I can only do them now and for the next months. Annoying not to have a choice anymore because they reward you with items of high demand suddenly and not just tomes (where there are several other ways to obtain them). Balance is not SE's strongest skill for sure lol.

Yeah I looked at the requirements (steps needed to just finish them) and decided no way. I just do the 2nd to the last levels. It's allowed me to retain my sanity, and I've just accepted that I'm earning the Ixali tokens at a much slower rate.
I do all 6 quests, every day, and it takes me 20-40 minutes to get all of them done. 40 Minutes is typically the fishing quests, which are incredibly easy and completely brainless to do if you have a controller. (hit your button to fish. Your controller vibrates, real it in. Wait about 5 seconds, hit fish. -> I can fish like this from out of the room and check back in on the progress from time to time.) The issue here is the % to actually get the quest fish must be ~1/3 at best. and even then, you only need a couple, so it's still only 10-20 mminutes of fishing.
I believe you can use any bait to get the fish for the quest so if you use a bait that doesn't work at the fishing holes you should only catch the quest fish.I do all 6 quests, every day, and it takes me 20-40 minutes to get all of them done. 40 Minutes is typically the fishing quests, which are incredibly easy and completely brainless to do if you have a controller. I typically just use whatever I have handy but I do know that I was getting near constant catches when I first started using Ocean bait IIRC.
