QOL Adjustments this Game DESPERATELY NEEDS

SE, if you're worried about TP in the Party List making it too cluttered... just don't give it it's own bar, literally put it where & exactly how I placed it.

If four digits is too long to fit, simply make it only show at >999 or whatever the setting is players have selected (>700, >600, etc.).

Because I have no clue any other reason this wouldn't have been implemented yet otherwise...........

If it's too small for some...

TP IN THE PARTY LIST (upper-left)

SIGNS IN THE MOB LIST (mid-left)

    CHOCOBO'S DURING QUEUE (center)

    HIDE SPECIFIC QUESTS (upper-right)

    MAP PINGS/PINS (mid-right)

you can place flags on the map.. But the rest of it is legit.

I will add that if you don't know the reason they removed the ability to show/hide quests from the on screen window is because!!!!!!! (this is what Square said mind you)

The Japanese players found it confusing that quests could be removed from the on screen window.... Yea that happened. Apparently opening the quest log and hitting a check box was too confusing.

We had the ability to do it until... Phase 3 beta I think?

The sad thing is it's probably as easy as you made it look.

Doubtful but I certainly can't disagree with wanting these changes.

    1. This one may happen but they don't like adding things at the moment they can't apply to the PS3. They would have to do what they did with the FT bar and choose something to remove.
    2. Same issue as #1. PS3 onscreen sprite limitation.
    3. They are working on the chocobo thing. The last response was that it wasn't as easy as it appears since the chocobo shares traits of both a pet AND a party member and they haven't worked out a good means of separating it.
    4. Would definitely be nice, but the 5 quests visible on my list motivate me to get them done lol At least we can pick which 5 show up.
    5. Doable but probably not on the compass, just the map itself. The map link feature is halfway there.

I could make an entire list just based around Chocobo Companion:

    * Let us queue for DF while Choco is out
    * Let us summon minions while Choco is out
    * Let us use other mounts while Choco is out
    * At least give a warning pop-up first, if we try to summon Choco while already in a queue. Don't just kick us out of the queue.
    * Resetting Choco's skills should be cheap and easy. There is no good reason it should cost 48,000 company seals (almost cap), or be locked behind high GC ranks or unlocking endgame Hunts. We have no way of knowing what skill tree will be useful until we try it, after all.
    * Attaining a desired color for our Choco should not be a mysterious process, dependent on luck or the guesswork of thrid-party websites.
    * If I'm doing a Leve that requires monsters be pacified with /soothe, please make Choco stop attacking it after it's been pacified. I'm pretty sure I've seen Choco ignore a target I've put to sleep, so this should about the same.
    * If I'm attempting to use a Chocobo Porter or enter a story quest instance, please auto-dismiss Chocobo Companion rather than simply deny my request and tell me to dismiss it myself. Like, I'm sorry, am I inconveniencing the video game?

Queuing I already discussed...Summoning minions they stated was to do with total characters on screen/in the zone (ie imagine everyone in the zone with a bird AND a minion and 1/3d of them with SCH/SMN pets). Other mounts they said was actually possible and they'd do it if we really wanted as long as we didn't mind that the bird would disappear while we're mounted. A warning while in queue would definitely be nice. I also agree the reset shouldn't be so god awful hard, though it's somewhat moot once you're climbing to 20 where you can have all 3 trees maxed. The color thing is supposed to be like a minigame. The leve thing I've experienced...even just a Heel or Obey command like pets would work. I don't mind the denial of entry myself, especially since we can feed our birds now and wouldn't want to waste one on an accidental click.
