Final Fantasy Portal Apps - further suggestions?

Please let us stable our chocobo in the upcoming FFXIV related app! Similar to Chocobo World for PocketStation that brings back items and can do simple battles and upload that content back to our account? They could be our official third exploration-only retainer?

That's a cool idea and I love seeing other ways to interact with our accounts outside of the game through smartphones and such. Something I can go mess with on my lunchbreaks

If pokemon could do it back during its gba days with their pikachu tamagotchi (you could bring back mystery prizes :3), then I don't see why ff14 can't have one. It doesn't have to be big rewards, maybe earning some chocobo foods and stuff like that.

Also - it'd be great to have an app to check retainer ventures and send them out :3 juuuuuust sayin'

I would love a Choco Breeding/Raising thing that is cross app done in the kind of way the Chao were raised in the Sonic games for the Dreamcast on their VMU's. but really, my biggest hope of a cross app feature, was the card game.

It would also be nice to be able to manage your retainers and put items up for auction, recover items, etc. I think they mentioned something like this was being contemplated, but i cant remember where i saw that.

Also a FC management app where you can set buffs, accept members, promote, demote, chat, and all that good junk all from your mobile. or even a LS chat function on your device so you can keep in touch with friends when you arent online.

SE's way to look like they're not trying to own your life since removing the warning upon login (classic FFXI warning). Add a pedometer chocobo rewards... 2,000 steps earns you a cooldown ignoring untradeable krakka carrot. May be considered unfair to those who don't have the time or desire to go out, but I would think raising and little "mobile" features could be cute (tamagotchi and similar toys). I'm crossed between knowing I could have these features and how neat they could be vs the idea that I don't think any advantage to the game should come from anywhere except from inside the game itself. I suppose as time goes on and smart phones become the norm it is less of a reason.

Also I think if the card game is well thought out and can endure, the ability to play it on the fly with players within and without the game would be epic . FC management is neat too.

+1'd, but can we grow grass? XD! Joking of course, just remembering a previous conversation lol. Talking about plants though, gardening would be nice - say you can hire an npc for the FC as care taker (moogle plz) and then people can order him to complete tasks like clean the stables, water plants, use soil/seeds/fish meal stored in FC bank (or retainer). The point of hiring him would be that people in the game could actually see the caretaker complete these queued tasks, adding a bit of life to the house even when away.

I can agree with all of the above implementations. I would like a friends, FC, and LS chat options if possible. :>
Having the option to be able to pop on and just chat with everybody on my phone would be that much easier to set up times for end-game and things.

Maybe a moon calendar app that explains slightly the effects with weather and the day on crafting/DoL/gardening.
