Did anyone else get choked up hearing the Answers track from the end of 1.xx playing during the anniversary event in August around the Minstrel in Limsa?

Absolutely did.
I don't mean this next bit in an elitist way, but that entire event had so many call backs to 1.0 events, quests, and themes, I don't think newer players would ever fully appreciate what the anniversary event really was. I enjoyed it on so many levels.

Seems like more time has passed between 1.0 and ARR than it actually did. The Dalamud days were kinda exciting Here's hoping a mini Dalamud shows in the skies again, to crush into the awkward mess that the Housing system is and wipes it in order to be rebuilt anew. This time without ridiculous solutions and excuses.... OR the rotated maps (lol) for the messiah-like solution that is subwards

The End Of An Era cutscene still makes me legit sad, as lame as that sounds heh. Glad that FFXIV is still here in some way though, i'm still happy to be here (Y)

All these 1.0 pictures are making me miss all of the friends I've lost since 1.0 ended. T__T *sobbing intensifies*

I ended up sitting in the amphitheater in Gridania with my LS and a few other people while meteors fell from the sky.

I think I just lost all my 1.0 screenshots (that few I had)... that is, I believe, I had them all on a hard drive that seems to have died. That said... I do remember the eerie atmosphere and the epicness that was the video to end all videos 1.0. And I also do miss the awesome graphics of it - I do hope at least some of it can be brought back somehow in the future.

Probably not until 4.0. Don't get me wrong, I'd love for them to show us what they can do without the limitations, but I believe they mentioned that they won't drop PS3 support until way after 3.0.
