Wow, another year has gone past since Meteor fell on Eorzea.

On November 11, 2012 Meteor descended upon Eorzea bringing about the rebirth of our world. For many of us that meant saying goodbye to our characters, goodbye to all the friends we made in Eorzea.
Today we remember our last days before Meteor. Post screenshots, connect with long lost friends, reconstruct the great Goobbue wall of Ul'dah, or tell stories of your days before the calamity.

Glad to have played for this long since 1.0's inception.

I miss 1.0's atmosphere, but there are some moments in 2.0 that make me realize how much the game has changed since then.

Anyone find it interesting that it falls on Veterans Day/Armistice Day/Remembrance Day.

Given that he used the real life date instead of an in game date I can assume he meant the anniversary of when it occurred in, you guessed it, real life (as in the date 1.0 shut down). It does not take a rocket scientist to figure that out... /comprehension
