Bugged Quest

Hi there, I've had a bug whereby I CANNOT complete a quest to unlock the leves of Camp Bluefog, however now I cannot remove the quest from my log or restart it either. I have contacted in-game support and they INSIST that GM's cannot reset quests in game, which is insane if true, and that my ONLY recourse is to post in this forum.

I'm quite upset that I've been supporting this game for so many years (I own 5 copies at this point and have had a constant sub since 2.0, and played much of 1.0) and now the support team can't even click a reset button on a quest, almost every mmorpg would have had a quick, easy solution in place. (I know this for a fact, I've encountered this in many of them)

Anyway, I need to clear this quest to continue with my Animus books... so does anyone have any suggestions? I would really appreciate any help.

Fill out the bug report correctly? I'm sure this is what the GM meant when they told you to come here and post in the in game bug section. Not to come here and cry and throw up entitlements. But that should be common knowledge since you've been here so long though... Oh well...

The hostility is welcomed, as I posted like an asshat, now what do you mean fill in the 'bug report correctly'? You mean the in-game one, this thread or is there something else I'm not seeing?

I'm on my cell phone now, so I can't look up the link. But I would check the in game bug forums for a sticky by the forum mods that has a correct layout of what info they want provided. I believe the Lodestone has a place to report bugs but it may be even slower to respond. Sorry I'm not more help ATM, but I would check those 2 places and good luck and I hope you get it resolved!

Yep. If you don't fill out the templates provided in the sticky at the top of this forum, they tend to just move the threads to the "Insufficent Information" or "Not a bug report" forum, which means you'll never get it looked into.

Okay, thanks a bunch guys, really good to know I'm on the right track at least, I'll sit down and have a proper look when I get a chance later on tonight, although at a glance the sticky stuff still seems like generic bug reporting and not specific account issues.

I guess I'll just have to keep trying.
