    X-Pots of Strength

Why the discrepency in materials required for X-pots of stat?

Dex pot--Dart frog. A level 45 botany harvest
Vit pot--Grenade ash. A level 40 Mining harvest. Can get from miner retainer
Int pot--Black Scorpion. A level 42 botany harvest
Mnd pot--Pudding flesh, A little harder to get due to limited puddings available in world. Can get 10/ hour from hunting ventures

I don't have a Botany retainer, so if someone can check if Black scorpion and Dart frog are available as ventures I'll edit in.

All easy to get, single items required to craft respective X-potions.

Then there's X-Pot of Str, not only does it require 2 items, Silver shark and hammerhead shark one being a mooch the other a straight cast, but also an additional craft to make the Shark oil. Which is not available from ventures. One type of shark is.

Making STR pots more of a pain to make than the others, any reasons why?

nb. I'm not saying they are difficult to make, just the amount of time/gil you have to put in to make them compared to the others is unbalanced.

Solution? Make them require only one of the sharks to bring them to the same level as the other pots. The shark (I forget which) which is available through ventures also,

Crafting + fishes = always more expansive mats.
Becoz only a few players enjoy fishing, only a few players go fishing, becoz of the RNG that rule this class.
At least, they made fishing realisitc, it's as boring as IRL, and as random too.

In the topic : I aggree with you, it's unbalanced.
Or the other X-potions are too easy to craft.
Or the X-potions is too hard.
    One of those 2 choises.

Actually both silver and hammerhead sharks are available from the fishing ventures.

Really though, they should bump up the venture yield from a meager 3 to at least 10, and from 7 to 15 for the other fish. I love fishing but Silver Sharks are dumb.

    Thought it was just one.

But it still doesn't cover the discrepency between STR and the other pots. You send 2 fisher retainers per shark type and then able to craft less than what a solo retainer can get for making the other X-pots.

So sending 2 fisher retainers gets you 3 of each shark, so you can craft 3x3 X-pots, 9 pots. Sending 2 retainers out for anyother nets you mats for 20 crafts, 20x3, 60 pots.

Same time, 9 pots vs 60 pots.

The number of silver shars yielded from a venture is based on your Retainers gear (pretty sure it's gathering stat). I know I used to fish 1 Silver Shark an hour, and now I'm returning 2. Guess I need better gear still if I want him to return with 3
