What Gear Should I Get First!!!?

So I'm returning from a long hiatus, I farmed twin during 2.0 and then left right after extremes released. I've returned to the game and began playing a new char with my GF but I started playing my main when she isn't playing.

I've ran ST a few times and recieved a few oils/sands and got the ST Helm/Chest/Legs/Gloves/Belt to upgrade my i90 to 100. I also purchased the i100 boots and upgraded them to 110.

I am currently saving up to 1300 (at 1000 atm) Sold to get the Axe since I need ACC and no other weapons (Shiva/Ramuh/Relic Animus) have it, I could go for Novus but that is a load of work!

With the reset this week I can either pick up two i120 accessories or get the i120 Chest. I'm leaning towards accessories since my left side will all be 100+ and my right side is still all i90.

    What do you guys think?

Left side gives you Vit and Strength and defense which is why you'd tend to avoid upgrading accessories first. Do you really need more vit right away for some reason? The chest is good, you could also do two of legs/hat/hands if you like the ST chest.
Soldiery has no cap, so use that on accessories. Plus I feel like it's easier to get oils than sands.

Hmm you are probably right.. and I would like to see myself finally break 10k as a WAR. It was always the dream in 2.0! I have 3 oils already so after I get the Soldiery axe I'll focus on picking up all the accessories!

    THANKS!

All based off my Curtana with 23 ACC and ACC capping at 558.

Damage Build: http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/OFNE (Replace Tank ring with DPS ring and maybe bracelet too)
    Parry Build: http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/OFNK
Hybrid Build: http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/OFOP (Gives some good damage while also giving 515 parry [40% chance])

Unless you can do the Melded Hybrid builds then maybe one of these kinds of builds work.

If your going Damage: Helm, Boots, Ring (STR)
If your going Parry then: Chest, Legs, Ring (VIT)
If your going Hybrid: Legs, Helm, Ring (VIT)

Chest is always a solid piece to start with, but these are just some routes. Lol, I'm still torn on what to get, mainly cause my static is still on T8, so I'll probably be going Hybrid myself.

My vote goes to the Tanking Chest first. If i remember right, the Chest piece drops in T13. So unless you are in one of the super raid FCs, you won't be getting that anytime soon.

I normally go for the Left side first, like Robin said, you get Str and Vit on your left side. Right side only give Vit. I suggest you to farm ST like crazy for ilevel 100 gear for place holder gear, while farming Soldiery to get a complete set of ilevel 110 gear. After i upgrade all my tanking gear to 120+ all my ilevel 110 gear will go to my Gladiator retainer who gets all my old tanking gear.

    .
515 parry is nowhere close to a 40% chance.

    (515-341)/14 = 12.4+9 = 21.4 before shield blocks.
