This is more of a matter of opinion so to those who believe it, it is true.

Uh, yeah, and some people thought the game was fine from day one. I don't know why that even matters. most people don't agree. That's what matters.

At worst, the devs might get conflicting signals- that the game would be actually alright now- that'd be a disaster.
