Let Players Speed Run Again

Because as others have stated, when given a choice, the community has shown it'll strong arm DF parties into doing speed runs, so the "choice" isn't really a choice. If they want to add an entirely different version of existing duties to be speed run, be my guest, as long as everyone is sharing the same duties though, it's better for majority to limit the pace they can be cleared.

There's this thing in the menu, called party finder. In that party finder selection, there's something called "Slow and easy". If you all hate speed runs, maybe you could use that option. I know it's mind-blowing.

And it's not about the parties either, it's about the MECHANICS. That's what needs to stop. The ones for the bosses like Yeti are fine. But ones like doors won't open to certain mobs are dead. Having your HP dropped to 1% to make you stop is not ok.

It is impossible to speedrun the new dungeons. There is not even the option to do so because of how it is designed.

Trying to push faster time was fun. Now I don't even run dungeons anymore because it's so slow, and that's in a premade. I can't imagine trying to run it in DF with dex ring drgs and str ring brds.

While I get you like Speed running, you are still coming off very aggressive towards other people just explaining their point of view. How about you ask SE to be able to purchase your Poetics in the cash shop! There, problem solved & you don't have to bother with those horrible dungeons anymore & can stand afk in Mor Dhona with all your i120 gear!

Because most people think I am talking about party members being slow. I am not and have to keep repeating myself. It's the mechanics. I wouldn't even care if the option to speed run was there, but you can't the game forces you to stop at a lot of points.

There is no threat from pulling one group of mobs. it's a rush when you pull everything like in Brayflox or Haukke Manor. When I to pull only 4 mobs cause the other few won't spawn until the other dies, it's no threat = no fun.

Yeah I have to wait 5 seconds, but that adds up with all the other mechanics that force me stop.
