PLD High Score Machine!

So there were a few threads a couple weeks ago about how much of +STR accessory made for PLD.

This was with 3 i110 and 2 i100 accessories, all i110 left side except i120 head, and a i110 novus weapon. Also no Ninja debuff on the boss.

First 1k+ Rage of Halone for myself. There were some threads back in the old FFXI days about hardest hits.

So provide some details (gear/weapon/boss) and a screen shot! Lets see those high numbers. This is mostly just for fun, but we could make a ladder if people wanted.

Weapon : Novus i110, +30 VIT Spec PLD
iLVL: i110 w/ +STR accessories
Boss: Xande
DMG: 1,025

You will never beat 1500+ IB crits. Personal best ive noticed on screen (not parsed) was 1555.

That's a nice hit, but with three Ninjas in your party (and another in Alliance B) I'd be surprised if none of them have Dancing Edge up. Could just not be showing up due to the limited number of debuffs bug thing.

The most fun numbers come on Turn 5 with 20% Echo Buff and 4 stacks of Diseminate on the big Snake.

While I agree with you PLD's don't have IB.

I'll have to play around in T5 now, haven't been back in the with the echo. If you look at the debuffs both lines aren't full, I know our Ninja's didnt have it up as they were calling it out. Again not talking about WAR here, but PLD Dps.

Did some more Turn 5 yesterday, but on my Paladin, and purposely asked the team to keep the first two snakes alive so that we could get the 4 stacks onto the big one. Is a 2.5k Spirits Within more appealing to you? Sadly I'm at work and can't get to my screenshot, but I will post it if I remember

I felt warm and fuzzy inside on my first T11 clear a while back -- i111 (my only upgrade was a i120 ironworks bracelet), all points in VIT, full tank gear (so no strength gear, no crafted/pentamelded stuff)... and in my opener on T11, which is done in sword oath + fight or flight + HQ x-pot of strength, I saw my spirits within crit for over 1k, followed seconds later by a halone crit of alllllllmost 1k, but not quite.

I have done a 1764 Inner Beast on WAR in 2.3, full STR/Det gear w/Berkserk and X Pot of STR up.

The highest Rage of Halone I think I've done is 1123? or so. Same exact gear as what I used on WAR minus the weapon swaps ofc. Sword Oath/Xpot up too but I don't really do that much on PLD as its too difficult for anyone to actually tank unless the healers are fine healing a PLD with 6000 HP. So it probably possible to hit higher than that, especially with 2.4 gear
