I don't understand the lack of inspiration for housing.

So...SE...I recently heard that a player was banned because he happened to purchase a large house when 2.4 dropped. While it is possible and very likely that he resorted to RMT to amass the laughably absurd amount of gil you all are charging for large houses, I feel like you all may have taken leave of your senses. Why set the prices on PERSONAL HOUSING so high that they arouse suspicion should someone actually be able to afford them? Something about that whole scenario makes me raise a brow.

I strongly suggest you consider the undeniable fact that it's overpriced for no reason. Features offered are negligible at best. If you add in the option to sleep in your beds for a well rested bonus, a jukebox for that soundtrack you all are so proud of, a 4-star craft that actually adds a useful feature like say, a magazine catalog that lets you access the MB from inside your "estate," along with a guest list to select players on your friend list to-key word, temporarily- make use of your amenities,(beds, summoning bells, food items, hired vendors)then maybe I wouldn't be so irritated about the exorbitant amount of gil you all are asking for.

If your only justifiable reason is "gil sink" then you're going in the wrong direction. While I want to acknowledge the possibility that there has been no lack of effort to stop bots and RMT spammers on you guy's end, I can't ignore that they are something you all can stop with enough effort. There are MMO's out there that don't have this problem. As paying customers, we as the gamers should be able to enjoy this game and not literally have to pay to fix your problems SE. With gil or with actual money.
