    360 Gamepad controls layout suddenly changed

    My controls are all messed up now in FFXIV and only FFXIV. My foward and back movement is the X-axis on right stick. The left and right is assigned to directional pad.
    The jump is now my SELECT button...etc...

    Does anyone know of a way to fix it? Again it seems to be only happening for this game (PC).

    also did you update the xbox 360 software for windows at all?

    This kept happening to me as well. Sorry, I never found a solution. I just stopped using that controller. Of course, I have problems with my Logitech PS-style controllers as well, but I think that's a separate matter.

    Have you tried calibrating your game pad using the game's calibrate button?
