    How to quit a free company?

    Because of circontances i dont understand, i am now the leader of a guild. However, this is not a position that i like and i would like to quit but i cant. It says that the leader cannot quit. Can someone guide me on how to do it? I see the leave the company button, but its gray out and i cannot select it.

    You can make someone else the leader and then quit.

    on a different note, I have a character in a free company, that I would like to move to another server. how does one go about leaving a Free company?

    Go to the Info tab in the Free Company interface and there will be an option to leave the free company. Note you can't leave a free company if your chocobo is stabled or you have a private room.
