Yoshi P said he wanted to create a individual LB system for each Class/Job and I was thinking, that it would be cooler if the LB system wasn't a one shot ability like Final Heaven or any of that. Instead it was a transformation skill that increased your stats for a short time.
Tranformation:
In the older FF, Whm turned into White Wizard
Monk turned into Master
Warrier into Knight
You get the idea. What if each of the current jobs had an ascension form they took on when activating this limit break? 1-2 increasing stats for a specific time limit, say 30 secs and giving you a physical make over, albeit small
and 3 would give you a bigger make over, increase stats and lasts for 1 min.
What's this? Balancing issues? I am sure those can be worked out.

I agree, that this is the most likely outcome of what he said, however. I'd like to see if the community would want something else in it's place. They took out skill chains which was pretty unique and gave us standardized LB, I'm hoping we can go back to it, or something similar.
While normally I would agree with you, the problem is that, it's still going to be Tank/healer/DD LB just not party dependent and the damage will be less to compensate the fact that everyone will get their own.
So instead of seeing each party Member use an LB that does spike damage or spike heal or spike Def up, something different could break the mold
Yes and no, each transformation would increase the individual's stats, rather than a spike (not to mention animation lock >.o) , but yes it would still abide by the holy trinity unless they decide to mix it up and give whm a massive holy LB and Bard keeps their raise ability (which would cool too)
That wouldn't save him if he was weakened, the transformation would remove the weakened status, also raise HP and other stats, so it would be like drinking all the X potions at one time.
